Straight answers about how TradeWinback works, who it's for, what it costs, and what's involved.
TradeWinback helps high-value trade, construction, contractor and home-improvement businesses revisit quotations, estimates, proposals and enquiries they've already generated but never converted into booked work. We identify the opportunities most worth pursuing, help structure the follow-up approach, and track whether previously lost conversations become active again.
TradeWinback is built for high-value, quote-driven businesses — regional contractors, growing trade businesses, multi-branch operators, commercial contractors, construction companies, home-improvement groups, specialist installers and high-ticket service businesses. It's particularly suited to companies with regular enquiries, estimators or surveyors, sales teams, meaningful project values and substantial quotation volume. It is not designed for tiny one-off reactive callout jobs.
TradeWinback works across high-value, quote-driven trades and contractors — including roofing, construction and building, HVAC, solar, windows and doors, fit-out, commercial electrical, landscaping, pools, flooring, insulation, kitchens and bathrooms, and other trades where formal quoting and meaningful project values are standard. If your business regularly prepares written quotations, estimates or proposals, the recovery principle applies.
Yes. Roofing is where TradeWinback started — re-roofing, commercial roofing, flat roofing, major repairs, roof surveys and heritage roofing quotations that went quiet. Roofing contractors with dedicated estimators or surveyors and a history of formal quotes are often strong recovery opportunities.
Yes. Construction companies, general contractors and design-and-build firms are well suited to TradeWinback. Their work is naturally quote and proposal driven — extensions, renovations, new builds, commercial projects and fit-outs — with meaningful project values, formal estimating processes and substantial historic quote pipelines.
Any quotation, estimate, proposal or enquiry where you've already invested time — surveys, site visits, measuring, pricing, design or proposal preparation — that then went cold without a confirmed booking. This includes roofing quotes, HVAC installation proposals, solar proposals, construction estimates, fit-out project proposals, window and door quotations, landscaping projects and more.
You send us five anonymised examples of quotations, estimates or enquiries that went quiet. We review them and produce a free audit showing which opportunities we'd prioritise, why we think they may still be recoverable, the follow-up approach we'd recommend, and example recovery messages. You see the strategy before deciding whether to work with us.
No. TradeWinback contacts you, the business — not your old customers. We help you identify and re-engage dormant sales opportunities from your side. We do not cold-call or email your past clients on your behalf.
For the initial audit we need anonymised opportunity examples only: the type of job, approximate quotation value, the date it was quoted, what happened, and how the customer was followed up. Customer names, phone numbers and email addresses are not required.
No. Please do not enter customer names, customer phone numbers, customer email addresses or exact property addresses. The initial audit analyses sales opportunities — it does not collect a homeowner database.
For founding clients: £0 setup fee. The initial £250 success fee is only due when a previously stale or lost opportunity attributable to the TradeWinback campaign becomes a confirmed job. If you choose to continue after the first recovered job, the founding rate is £350 per month with no long-term contract.
A recovered opportunity counts as confirmed when the customer has accepted the work and paid a deposit. If your business does not normally take deposits, the work must instead be formally scheduled and confirmed in writing.
No. There is no long-term contract. The founding programme is £0 setup, a £250 success fee only after your first recovered job, and £350/month only if you choose to continue. You can stop at any time.
No. There is no long-term contract. If you choose to continue after the initial recovery campaign, the service is billed monthly at £350/month and can be cancelled. Monthly continuation only begins if you explicitly choose to continue.
No. TradeWinback does not guarantee that any specific opportunity will be recovered. We identify, prioritise and re-engage dormant quotations professionally — but whether an old quote turns back into booked work depends on the customer and the opportunity.
Yes. TradeWinback is built to operate globally. Outbound contact only occurs in markets where a country-specific compliance policy has been configured and permits it. Research may happen worldwide; outreach is always country-policy controlled.
Yes. Multi-branch and multi-location businesses are often strong recovery opportunities, because they tend to generate substantial quotation volume across several service areas.
Yes. Commercial contractors, construction companies and design-and-build firms are well suited to TradeWinback — their work is naturally quote and proposal driven, with meaningful project values and formal estimating processes.
If an opportunity is genuinely no longer relevant — for example the customer cancelled, the project was abandoned, or the work was completed elsewhere — it is flagged as not worth pursuing and excluded from recovery outreach. We focus effort where a recovery is plausible.
All outreach is professional, trade-specific and compliant. We never send generic spam, never mention services you don't offer, and never fabricate information. We respect opt-outs immediately and apply global suppression so a declined contact is never approached again from another campaign or trade.
If a recipient asks not to be contacted, we stop immediately, mark them as Do Not Contact, and add them to our global suppression list. That suppression applies across every country, trade, campaign and sender — they will never be contacted again unless they explicitly re-engage.
Yes. TradeWinback works alongside your existing CRM and sales process. We focus on dormant opportunities that have typically already reached the end of your normal follow-up — quotes from 30, 60 or 90+ days ago that went quiet. Your sales team continues their active pipeline; we recover value from what they've moved on from.
